Chance upon it at one of my favorite tyre shop. Continental New Comfort Contact 6.
Search the web, nothing much on it except some being sold in Mudah.....lol
Did not see anything on this tyre launch, probably not launched yet.....:smokin:

Continental CC6

To me at least looks better than previous CC5......:driver:

Probably want it to be quiet as no break in the pattern, except the right side......

I have used Continental CC5 some time ago. Very low grip and not very comfortable despite the name. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Comfort contact are entry level tyre. Need grip and handling need at least Sports contact......

Based on my experience, other entry level tyres such as hankook ventus v2 & falken 912 (earlier batch) perform much better.

Hankook Ventus range are either HP or UHP category. V2 are actually in the middle. Hankook Optimo range are the lower range

Falken ZE-912 is the Ziex range also mid category. Lower entry level is the Sincera Range.
Top performance range is Azenis range...:driver:

Thanks for the clarification. I always thought Hankook Ventus V2 and Falken ZE-912 are considered entry level tyre. But Conti CC5 really was below my expectation. Hopefully they have improved this new CC6. The thread is really ugly though. :hmmmm:

Well, I still think they are entry level since is the comfort contact range. They have the mid range the Premium contact, for Asia the Max Contact (MC5) then Performance range the Sports Contact....:driver:

If it's anything similar to CC5 it's shit tyre.

CC5 is like a pig. Putting lipstick on a pig and call it improvement, it's still a pig.

CC is CC loh how to change, need better have to get PC or SC range........lol

wah.. CC kena hantam left and right.. this is comfort touring tire lah guys

hahahah some would expect a pig to become a bacon

Im interested to know how quiet it is now. The previous one gets noticeable noisier after like 30% wear

Only straight grooves, should be quieter, but ngam you meh! how to touge........lol

To be honest, this is the 2nd worst tyre I've ever used, not comfort at all despite the name 'Comfort Contact'. The worst ever is Sime Tyres Astar 100. At that time I knew almost nothing about tyres, only followed what the tyreman said. :banghead:
