Wonder for hand polishing if it is okay to use technical wipes/wipers instead? Never tried before but could work. Using Kimwipes for most of my car/bike maintenance work such as cleaning up/repacking hub bearing grease, engine oil change, drivetrain chain clean up/lube, general purpose wipes, etc. Quite absorbent, light plush and lint free. Not that expensive for a big box of technical wipes. Do come in handy as you would not need to wash/clean up dirty/greasy MF cloths. Biodegradable one time use unlike MF cloths which are synthetic. Thinking of the environment/cost factor of water/detergent/degreaser/electricity usage to clean up MF cloth vs a biodegradable technical wipe, I would go for the latter (think carbon foot print is on the lower side too). AM using the regular technical wipes that are already lint free and if you are anal could try to get those clean room/science wipers.

Oh yeah, those tech wipes are also much more durable than regular paper towels. Holds up like a cloth and not so easy to tear.
