R33 RB26DETT modification

I've been looking around Malaysia and I just recently started a project for a friend (I've got a lot of spare time, lets just put it that way).

Hes had his R33 GT-R for a few years and we're looking to modify the engine abit.

Does anyone know where I can get these parts?

Greddy Metalhead Gasket 1.2 mm thickness with a 87mm bore
AP Racing/Brembo/any other make - 6 pot front full kits, 2 pot rear full kits only (set of 2 each)
Pistons for the RB26DETT
N1 fuel/oil/water pumps

any recommendations in terms of modifying the clutch? I'm a rookie at this, sorry. :(

Since I'm new to this, are these parts available here or are they only special order?

I'm looking for some parts for my friend's R33 GT-R and I got linked to this forum (yeah I'm new here, Hi).

I'm new to this so you'll have to excuse my stupidity :stupid:

A friend wants some parts for his RB26, we're looking for just parts, he can do the installation himself.


Does anyone know where I can get these?

Piston set for the RB26 R33
A preprogrammed ECU for the R33 (hes looking for one where he can just plug in and hes good to go)
AP Racing/Brembo/any other make 6 pot front (2 sets) and 2 pot rears (2 sets), any recommendation on the disc size or whatever theyre called??
HKS Turbo Kit for the RB26DETT, I'll ask for specific details from him later.

Haha, yeah. In terms of money, we're not looking to spend a lot. I talked to my friend yesterday, he's not pursuing top end power, hes looking at more of a finely-balanced machine, not much use for 500+ hp if all youre doing is city driving. we're looking at probably a more high-revving engine for this project, so a rework of the internals but we'll probably keep the turbines stock. 10 - 15000 RM max.

the ap 6 pot front kit will set you back 20k alone new. By no means i am an expert but if youre not aiming for high hp, maybe you should get the r34 brake kits. Around 5k used. Freed has a set on skyline marketplace.

RM15k I think should be able to get 500hp on a GTR easily. But no way if you want all new parts and we're talking purely engine mods MINUS the other mods like drivetrain, handling for example. It's very easy for costs to go through the roof if you don't plan it properly.

huh max 15k for 500hp (on engine) or whp? unless if you buy used parts and nego kaw kaw can la..if new parts i dun thing so..

let me give u roughly price for below items,

Trust Greddy Metalhead Gasket, 1.2 mm thickness 87 mm bore. - Complete set RM 14++, head gasket only RM8-9++...trust still got stock? i think in market now left tomei and hks..preffered one la..
Piston set for the RB26 R33 - Its same with r32gtr piston.. you can get it around rm500 above la..
A preprogrammed ECU for the R33 (hes looking for one where he can just plug in and hes good to go) - the cheapest tuning ecu is Power FC L jetro - Price range rm 3+++ (used)(itu pun kalau still ada in market) Nistune pun ok..not sure price

Front 6 pots just get ready 6k above bro with knuckle modification and instalation..rear brembo around rm 1800 above--all used ya HKS Turbo Kit for the RB26DETT, I'll ask for specific details from him later. - GTRS or GTSS? these turbos even 2nd hand cost at rm 5k above...new price dun ask la ok..
but please dun forget other parts also i.e. (if 500hp)

if you are interested, i'm able to source aftermarket forged pistons (definitely not rm500 :p) & conrods & other engine internal parts for u. i'm confident my price is the cheapest u can find malaysia, especially with the low exchange rates. but i am only able to supply non-japanese brands like wiseco, CP, eagle, carillo, acl, cosworth, mahle, cometic etc. since i do not own a performance parts business and only doing it for fun, there are some "sales conditions". do PM me if you are interested...
