Actually, i'm not very sure about regulation for Neon installation, is it illegal?
I would like to install 1 for my WiSE, behind the front bumper, because it's really cool. :D
JPJ will 'saman' me o not???

Please tell me more about this...

***your answer will be appreciated, thank you very much!!

lights that cause confusion to road users could be warned by the JPJ...

easy, just install a SWITCH..
upon block, switch it OFF...

problem solved..

as long as you're not using it on the road then it's ok. ‘usingit on the road' means switching it on whilst driving, but knowing JPJ they will still get you just for having it. but certain countries allow you to have lights of particular colors on the sides of the car. for example, it's within the law to have white and orange lights at the front and white and red at the back. I think the sides are orange. but using underside neons apparrently distracts other drivers, thus making it hazardous on the road.

agree with DJmobile and yuh_woei... the light will distract many other road users. it will look nice though expecially on dark roads where the glow will be obvious. not on well lit roads like KL though.

personally speaking..i wont do it. and with u inside ur car while driving..i dont think u will appreciate it much either. do sumthing that u will appreciate urself...

p/s unless of coz u let somebody else drive the car and u follow from another car and say...wah! my car so beautiful...no heart feeling ok? kidding only.:D

Actually it is illegal.

But do what you like. It's your car hawick, just do whatever you think is cool. Just be extra careful when u have the neon turned on while u're driving on the road. You know, for the Cops or JPJ.

And try not to prove critics that they're right about you by driving like a crazy driver on the road aight? Heh..

Imagine the benefits given to the cicak-cicak, ants, cockroaches when you illuminate the road so they can cross it safely.:D

Talking bout neons, i think some cars look good in it if u install the lights properly. With the right bodykits and all that is. Yes, your car body's paint does have an effect on the neon. Not all colours goes with blue neon. Or white neon, etc.

That day i was coming back home late at night. And suddenly there was this car behind me, far away. At first i ignored it. Then when i look in the rear mirror again, the car was already right behind me i was like, Wtf? That was fast. Then as i picked up abit i looked again and saw blue neons beneath it. I thought, "Hah!" .. But when i looked at the front bumper with the neon lights illuminating beneath it.. "Nice bumper sial.."

I stopped at one house and let the car passed me. Foooo shit. I can't remember what car was it. If i am not wrong, it's a waja modified. White body paint. Everything was cool. Bumpers, side skirts, evo spoiler. Not the jeng looking cars though.

So yeah, depends on everything overall if you wanna install the neon.

Oh well, it IS for decoration purpose right? Your car, you design it yourself. Face the consequences of the outcome.. Nice design/decoration, or baddd design/decoration.

Just beware of them 5-0.

sexy girls driving on the road also hazardous for us, ma. sexy girls in group in one car also dangerous for other road users. sexy girls driving with mini-skirt can be intai if you are in a bus. higher point of view. maybe ban them also. road s are now becoming more and more dangerous.

The only place I'll install under carriage neons, spot lights, flood lights, high beams, etc. is on the side skirt area and behind and bottom of my rear bumper. I'll also install a switch. This will be used when I park in dark areas. That's all. No other uses other than that.

if u do it with style, evrything will look cool. but some r just plain ass. i saw this red satria in kg. melayu subang with a big neon, no.. actually it looks like the long lamp we hv in the kitchen back home (wut's the name huh?) n it stuck out at the side of his undercarriage. dude.. the point is to make the damn lightings to be visible, not the lampu dapur itself. sheesh.

hey but then ah, ok la also. got fog lights at front, two neons at the side (one red, one blue on a green car) n animated lights on the grille (like nightrider) n flickering brake lights. now your iswara surely will look cool, if u park it at hartamas besides a stock 350z. hehehehe..

hello guys, i have a set of LED neon undercar light. I install it on my toyota celica. Anyway, i'm selling off my car so i need to remove these lights. selling for RM800 for a complete set.
a on/off switch, a control box, a remote control, 2 side neon, one front and one rear.
its LED type, better than those neon...it's waterproof though. Won't get damage as easy as those neon.

with 7 colours, 7 light running sequence.
