The newest addition to the BMW Group Malaysia dealership network opened its doors today in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, strategically located along Jalan Tun Razak. Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur is a comprehensive 4S facility that will cater to BMW and Mini owners.
The 60,000sq foot, four-storey premise will house the main BMW showroom and Mini showroom as well as a dedicated area for the BMW Premium Selection cars. The service side of things will see a workshop with 12 service bays and four BMW Fast Lane repair bays while the spare parts center will be located on the premise as well.
“With the launch of Auto Bavaria’s newest BMW dealership here in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, BMW once again extends our strong presence in the financial and commercial heart of Malaysia. The area is estimated to contribute more than four hundred cars annually to our business and we at BMW anticipate that the new Kuala Lumpur dealership will prove to be a key contributor to our overall performance here in Malaysia,” said Geoffey Briscoe, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, during the opening.
Things are looking promising for the premium carmaker as their sales has risen by 7.1 per cent up to August, or 2,893 units up from the previous 2,635 units. With such strong sales growth, the brand is confident of reaching their 4,000 units sales target for the year.
