Even with this device, some wires have to be unplugged.

if you check out the hicas lock i post there, you will notice there is some wiring in there to do that work...:slug:

i guess the TOMEI set is the eletronic HICAS cancellation kit which can switch ON or OFF the HICAS function which do not remove the whole systems.

EJ mention the lock bar which need to remove the whole HICAS system and replace with a lock bar.

I guess my information is useful for all.

In the past, automakers have tried to either eliminate the wipers or to control their speed automatically. Some of the schemes involved detecting the vibrations caused by individual raindrops hitting the windshield, applying special coatings that did not allow drops to form, or even ultrasonically vibrating the windshield to break up the droplets so they don't need to be wiped at all.
