help upgrade ice!!

currently i'm using sony explode HU, (45wx4, forget the model) and also sony explode 3 way speaker 270w in the front door.. the rear speaker never change..and no amp!

i like to listen to r&b, techno...that have bom bom bom..(u understand rite )
my budget is around RM1k.. maybe RM1.2k
should i get amp+6x9 or amp+sub??
well as i know 6x9 is cheaper, can put in rear passenger side rite? but the bass not as powerfull as sub..
while sub will take some of the space in the boot.....
errr...

anyway, should i powered the front speaker with amp or leave it like dat?
i really not quite understand about ice stuff :hmmmm:
hope u all can help me..
please state any other suggestion other than this setup if u have 1...

get a 4ch amp and a sub. the amp can run both the sub and the front speakers. maybe next time u can upgrade the front to component set.

may be you can try 3-way speaker first... if you think it is not enough bazz... you can put a sub-woofer with build in amp...

these will cost you around 300 for the speaker and 500 for the sub...

For me, a pioneer HU, front component (1 pair - 6" speaker, crossover and tweater), rear component (6x9 pioneer)... sounds okay to me...

If you want bass. Sub is the way to go. :)
Get a 4ch amp and a sub as per Zenn's recommendation.
I think got people selling magnat 4ch for around RM700 new. You can try your luck on 2nd hand branded items too. For sub, can look for 2nd hand around RM 300. Balance, RM200 should be for installation.
Sub with built in amp are normally not satisfying.
They are normally 6.5" with passive radiator. <- even on branded ones.
Unless you get the alpine 7 or something sub in 1 box. Even if you do manage to find a powered sub that sounds good, it won't be cheap.
