SS595 is now named as 595. Basically not much changes, therefore 595 Evo should be of newer technology. Street & Touge use are okay, but for track 595 RS-R is better......Hi,
hoping to get some sharing on which tyre series to choose for street, touge & occasionally track use.
Federal SS595 or 595 Evo?
Thanks
Oic...ThanksSS595 is now named as 595. Basically not much changes, therefore 595 Evo should be of newer technology. Street & Touge use are okay, but for track 595 RS-R is better......
Federal tyres or that model in particular.....I like federal tyres but the downside it that not all shops selling it....a friend had a big puncture on 1 of the tyres and we searched whole klang area for a replacement.....only 1 shop sell's it at rm 345 per piece...
The 595 RS-R even better dry grip, but not wet handling......that is against 595 Evo....get 595 evo. it's a step above 595ss anyway.
previously used that and excellent dry grip..
Do anyone know what the price for 595 Evo size 235/45/17?Using 595 Evo now. Downside is it's noisy. Wet grip is better than standard tyres but no match for wet-type tyres like Eagle F1 and Michelin PS3. But it's good anyway. Dry grip is phenomenal for a tyre in this price range.
but like I said - it's goddamn bloody noisy.

Individual have individual priorities and standard. That is why, when one mentioned good grip may not be the same to another. Therefore, for noisy, comfort, handling all the same......have to individually try them.i'm the opposite.
i feel it's quite ok.
not too quite but not that niosy.
hmm..
yup.Individual have individual priorities and standard. That is why, when one mentioned good grip may not be the same to another. Therefore, for noisy, comfort, handling all the same......have to individually try them.
When I fitted the F1 Asy., last time, one member actual came over to my place and try the tyres out.....but then again, on different car may be different again.....
C-Drive or C-Drive 2? Comfort of course as C range is for Combination of Comfort and Performance, but I am surprise it is better in aquaplaning also. Sure you are not comparing New C-Drive to Bald 595Evo...yup.
different ppl, different opinion.
different car, different feel.
example, an average priced UHP tyre can perform as good as expensive UHP tyre on a smaller car.
btw, the 595 evo tyres i used on a perdana.
now using c-drive, the dry performance not as used to, but comfort and aquaplaning resistance is up.
