The point of this thread is to compare dyno tuned charts to compare low, mid and top end gains to benefit helping us all understand where power was made and using what mods.
if you would like to share tuned calibrations to benefit others understand what different settings affect different motors. just to clear things up no 2 motors are alike and calibrations should not be used without tweaking to your specific setup.

Motor:
k24a,K20a, a2, a3 ..etc (k-series only)
Header: 4-1,4-2-1, buddy club, toda ...
Cams: stock, itr, skunk, crower, toda ...
Intake: PRC,RBC,RRC, if custom then especify
exhaust: all details and size from header back
Tranny: specify which and FD
Misc Mods: TB Boring, IMG..etc
Dyno Test: Dyno Jet,Dyna pack,Dyno Dynamic etc
Power made

PLEASE POST DYNO CHART IF POSSIBLE!!

Test Engine: DC5R K20A Stock Throttle Body
Header: Stock with De-cat
Intake: AEM V2
Exhaust: Fujitsubo RM01A - 60mm catback
Gearbox: Stock DC5 6 Speed
ECU: Stock
Dyno Test: Dyno Jet
power made: 195whp. 19.09kg-m

As you can see... dyno chart has 2 dyno lines... the one with 180whp is my baseline dyno without any mods.

+15whp with intake and exhaust mods.

next mod is going to be TODA Headers and then K-100 tuning. Looking to hit 223whp like the DC5 chart above me!

at what gear are these dynos measured? I believe for a 6speeder 5th gear shud be used because 5th gear ratio is closest to 1:1. My ep3 5th gear is 0.972:1 which is very close to 1:1 compared to the 4th gear 1.212:1.
opinions?

WAFS: Meaning your before chart of 201whp was with exhaust & decat only? WOW! Thats really strong!

My car at JC Racing with I/H/E mods only registered 183whp... thats almost 20whp off yours with only exhaust mods... :bawling:
Is there something wrong with my car? do i need a tune up? (spark plugs, etc)

I'm gonna have to go 2.5" custom then.

i have the chart to prove it. :bawling:

this was pre-tune with stock ecu.
post tune with k100, close to 210whp.
but still seems low because Hizam hit 215whp with just exhaust and intake mods post tune.
is 2.36" really THAT restrictive? if so im throwing it away and running open header. lol.

Nukee, remember the vip clip I posted before. That guys swap from 2.5" to 2.36" power loss by 10hp.. that vip would be a good bench mark for our mods..

Just ro refresh your mind ..

yeah, totally remember it. however that was on a dyno dynamics which reads high, where an intake and exhaust mod gave 215whp without a tune.... so abit skeptical.... plus they didnt retune immediately after the new exhaust system, so cam angles were probably not the best for the smaller exhaust diameter.

however, i agree, its definitely a good benchmark for our Type-R's on what exhaust to go for. 2.5" is definitely the way. :adore:

Hi all, my car windscreen I 'pandai-pandai' use some 'anti-water mark' solution to clean, now a bit misty already, but the other side and rear window now very shiny and smooth.

So problem only on my front windscreen, I would like to have a glossy finish, can I use autosol and polish it? Please advise, thanks.
