I have been charged RM60 for checking and fixing wiring for my Proton Iswara of Power Window Switch. It is reasonable? Can anyone tell me?
What was the problem? Sometimes if takes them the whole day to find and solve the issue, RM60 might be ok....I have been charged RM60 for checking and fixing wiring for my Proton Iswara of Power Window Switch. It is reasonable? Can anyone tell me?

Hello, you are not answering my question. I don't care people have to eat or not. We as a customers also have to eat. So, I am ASKING, not ARGUING.Bro, people also have to eat mah. Plus this is diagnosing and wiring, not replacing brake pads or changing oil.
I agree with you bro, I felt that it is quite expensive for me as I see I don't feel that it is very complicated.Come on la Kenny,
Its not only one customer paying RM30 a day...
If only one customer a day, quickly close shop already no need to wait any longer....
Hard one, sometimes the technician don't know how deep is the problem and want to go how far is it for the wiring.. but good idea also bro. thanksbetter ask the technician how much he gonna charging, or at least an estimate, before start working on the car.
Fair and square, for both parties.
Bro. Lesley,Hi Kelvin,
Just found out that Kenny is from Kota Kinabalu, where wireman are scarce and distance away...
They labour charge there may varies from West Malaysia...
So geographically, charges differs and we therefore need not debate on it.
Sorry to everyone, especially Kenny for the unforeseen circumstances...:wavey:
Thanks VR2 for the advice....:wavey:Bro. Lesley,
Forums are like that. Someone ask, he/she will get all sorts of views and answers. Just have to decide on his/her own after reading the answers given. Think they are not relevant, forget about them.
Better to make friends then argue and become enemies.....
Well said, brother. Depends on areas even, like mentioned by bro. Lesley. When the shop located, is the shop famous and so on. If think the job is expensive, find another for future job (if any). This job already paid for, even though expensive, what else can be done?....my 2 sensimo RM60 is fair price or not, nobody can actually tell why but yourself. Put yourself in his shoe. If you gonna do this job as a living, do you think you want to accept this job for this price? People always say there is a "market price" mah... well there is many market prices for the same job too. So how ah? If one is good he can charge high price, if one is half past six normal price is overcharged. So price for skill is subjective. my 1 cent la..
Your wireman very high handed (experienced)i have an experience with my olskool ke70
it can't start after i changed contact point
tried diagnosing it myself with diy kampung style...ask friends/ mechanic/ internet... still can't..[2x bateri flat]
call mechanic...check itu ini...what i did b4.....he surrender [also ask me for 1jz or black top la...ceh]
then he call wiring guy...check itu ini...gitu gini...wiring got problem...he fixed it..nothing changed
done...rm30...for about 20 minute job
the car stranded 4 almost 2 month
i paid him happily...
in my case rm 30 was sooo cheap for me
if its not complicated,u shud try to do it den.being sumone who takes care of my cars' myself,i know its not as easy as it looks.60hengget is acceptable imoHello, you are not answering my question.
