How to tell a faulty ECU?

Bro, it's MIVEC...and I'm would like to know how to diagnose or check the ECU. The easiest is to get a spare and replace it to check. But can the chop shop borrow ar? If not how...

If you have any of your friend who is using the same engine,you can try as what you said.The basic trial and eror..Sorry bro,not really good in mivec..^_^

go to those shop who know how to check or recond gear box. last time my car oso like that jerk, damn heavy, suddenly loose power, end up gear picah.

mech will take out the gear box open up to check those gear. mine got 2 gear picah when he open up n show me.
