kuching not so high tech to hav dyno machine at the moment -.-
unless someone bring this into business :P

suggest mr.president can start the 1st ever Kuching dyno tunning business in kuching then or may be
suggest other richer friend to start it since it looks
like a good business as no competitor and most newer engine today when started to age will need tuning.
(up down up down rpm symptom) compare to last month and the fuel consumption started to go up. Suspect the tunning is out.:hmmmm:
no market in kuching for dyno actually as alot of ppl try to bring it in but after survey it not worth it. Alot kuching ppl still trust thier ear rather than the computer output./reading. and who want to spend RM200++ for a dyno that might blow their engine to pieces. ;p not alot ... as before a dyno test being run alot of things need to be done.from simple calculation
everyday need 5ppl come dyno
each RM200
1 year need at least 1500 time of visit = 1500ppl
sure make a loss

doesnt mean that it has to be different 1500 people right? For sure there'll be returning customer if the service is top notch. And ofcourse, doesn't mean that you only open up a tuning shop solely, I'd suggest tuning is the side job where you mainly focus on selling tyres (most tuning shop does this) or other things like aftermarket parts. 2 in 1 shop. Selling tyres and tuning.
mentality of afraid their engine to blown into pieces should be scrap off from their mindset. An engine with rev-cut wont get blown easily unless you remove the rev-cut. A richer engine wont get blown compared to a leaner engine.. am I right?
Seriously, they should considering bringing in a dyno machine for the sake of aftermarket tuning scene. I am pretty sure those machines with standalone ECUs will be able to put up the best it can do.
Hey, there are loads of vtecs and mivecs around, Im sure they are interested to know how much their engine are pushing out.![]()
two different dyno machine:
1. Inertia dyno - make people happy
2. Load dyno - make people less happy

but rm200k is just the basic dyno setup..I bought it at Satok area (Rim and tyre shop) it is very expensive. RM250 per piece (Price before 1st July08 increase) for size 195/50/R15.
So far i would say it is not a good wet tyre (Grip in wet not so good).
You can ask some of the tyre shop at Jalan mendu to see whether they got or not.
bring ur car to Brunei for Dyno.no market in kuching for dyno actually as alot of ppl try to bring it in but after survey it not worth it. ).I think u can earn more by investing rm200k+ in other area... and dyno machine take up space as well..but rm200k is just the basic dyno setup..

Maybe they can get a small kilang like / warehouse and convert it into one stop car accessories and services. Section it up with Body shop, Performance shop, tunning shop, accessories sections, audio sections, Wheels&Tyres shop, major/minor maintenance services section, and a Showroom sections with all the performance parts/ performance audio / performance oil / etc... in summary a one stop for cars.
Just my 2cents oppinion as this kind of business survive in many countries.
buy a evo in 200k also nice
ca drive around n pick up at least 4 chicks since it;s 4 doors car :P
