Here's an honest feedback from a buyer who sold his top of the line Brax amplifier and replaced it with the Marantz Mono-Blocks:

My friend, they sound awesome! It's just 5 classes over the Brax X2400.2 I had.
I had a friend listen to them, he has the same Micro Precision 7.28Mk3, Brax midbass and a Brax Matrix X4 amp.
The X4 is a nice amp also but the price tag is high and also the power consumption.
All I can say is that you can fry eggs on the Brax while the Marantz barely break a sweat. The power supplys are ice cold.
I've installed 4 amps and both power supplys and they just fly!
Noticeable change in atmosphere, ambiance, top end extension and detail level throughout the entire bandwidth.
And all this with the eq flat as a pan! I haven't got to fine tuning yet!"
