the 25% cc upgrade is one rule.
but the changes in mounting points is another.
a perdana engine configuration = engine left-side, gearbox right-side.
a 6A13 engine is 'terbalik' = engine right-side, gearbox left-side.
so, it requires all 4 mounting points to be changed/modded.
well, two actually. the left and right side mountings.
for front and back, can use back the subframe and centre-member of the donor car (8th gen galant or usually known as VRG)
it can be done, i've heard a guy managed to pass inspection and endorse the engine.
but the modifications were done by Proton.
(got several Perdana that i know transplanted with 6A13TT, even 6G72TT. but not endorsed of course..)
i can be done and endorsed.. of course with $$$.. actually many have done that. but they are some kind of low profile... not showing off..
btw : those 6 cyl engine is good at cruising and top speed. some fella with steel balls gets more than 260km/h top speed on stock 6a12tt..
