What can i do with an AE90?

Manual 4age blacktop is better. however if it is above your budget, Auto is still fine if you mod it nicely. Just not sure what my friend mod to his SEG with Blacktop 4Age, in fact did outrun a 6 Speed Manual Blacktop during a drag race.:adore:

Mechanically speaking, it's not possible for an auto car to outrun a manual car with the same engine..

unless the manual 1 is not healthy

I don't believe it either but was recorded in the video. His SEG is modded and M/T one is stock SEG with 4AGE BT as well...

4 speed auto won against a 6 speed manual

anything can happen in this world

My mechanic checked with a few half cut shops and no auto.

Still searching.

Btw, i thought auto is better than manual in launching?

yup.. auto is good for launching..

u'll be ahead for a second or two..

then only torque n horsepower will determine who's gonna win

Guys,

my mech from SP quote:

Halfcut RM 4,500
Labour RM 1,300
Consumable RM 1,000 (depending on worn out parts)

any comments?

regards,

Cant find the video anymore Bro BH, quite some time ago, maybe no longer in FB Timeline...

Guys,

any comment?

thanks

Dude, that looks like market price. But Rm1000 for perishables is er... extravagant. I hope you trust this guy enough not to rip you off (as in buy new, but never replace for you)

looks ok to me

Thanks bro.

Izso,

I've been with the mechanic for many years.

He says RM 1k is incase of other stuff like aircon servicing... Stuff like belt, he won't change unless need to,

But i agree that it is a weebit too much for a normal transplant

timing belt - good or not good must change..

spark plug, engine oil, oil filter, belts, tabung aircond, tie rod end, driveshaft (remember this h/cut is more than 14yr old )

Gudluck :burnout:

remember to replace the oil seals as well, one shot.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

will list it down and ask my mechanic.

Hopefully can go back to Kedah tonight.

The price is consider normal. Might need to prepare some extra $$ for wear and tear parts.
