I just replace my valve cover gasket and spark plug "o" ring due to leaking at the #4 cylinder spark plug. Few weeks later, i found out that my car does not have a good idle. I saw #4 cylinder spark plug is still leaking. Can anyone help me with this problem? What should i do and what cause the problem? Thank you!

u bought the gaskets yourself or your foreman bought it?
could be el-cheapo ones.

what engine bro? if its a evo, better get original o ring. if it still leaks, use gasket sealer..

Yup, my VR also cannot use cheap valve gasket and do use gasket sealer as mentioned by bro. 4gbanger....:driver:

better spend abit more to assure our head is clear while driving rite bro vr2? but not all parts we can use original.. pocket koyak woo

Especially important parts needs original. Others at least chop shop, or recon. Cheap parts better not....

i think cheap parts can still do.. non important parts maybe like gear knob, carpet, door visor etc... but still depends on the owner..

try to retighten the head cover bolt
sumtime its work

sometimes if you don't torque it right it'll still leak. And certain valve cover gaskets have a direction (up vs down). Incorrect install and it'll leak too. If plug 4 is being affected like that you might have a issue with the valve guide?

I hope the engine sealant was not forgotten on the o-ring for 4th cylinder. It's like a grey toothpaste.
