Tyre

The yokohama tires are good in dry but not in wet. I have used the C-drive on my Accord before and wet grips is not good. Aqua planning if exceed more than 120km/h during wet condition on the highways.
I am using the F1 Assym and so far the dry grip is very good although the wet is not as good as the old Goodyear Eagle F1 but I have gone past 160km/h on a wet North South Hway. The ride is quiet too...
The TOYO T1R have good grip both in dry and wet but will get noisy when thread wear is around 50-60%. But the TOYO T1R is not cheap but will have no problem even travelling above 160km/h in the wet.
The Falken 912 is not bad for a budget performance tyres and but not for high speed of over 150km/h.
But if budget is not a problem..go for Conti CSC3..very good review but bladdy expensive.

If you want more reviews about tyres..go to this link for more info...http://forum.autoworld.com.my/index.php?showforum=61

ya. the Falken 912 is also worse in the wet too. scary man.

oh Conti, i also heard that it is good grip and also quiet. but i won dare to hear about its price again.

mine is made in thailand ,i bought in MAL because no choice , need hurry back to singapore
in singapore all michelin made in germany
about 17 price no sure ,u can ask around in ubi area or JB area
grip damn good but very loud when north south highway

noisy is fine for me. my car is already bit noisy due to exhaust. so no big difference.

and normally at most my car only drive till 140km/h only. if more than this, will have a huge noisy sound come from inside my car instead of outside(Girlfriend nagging). :banghead:

i just check online. quite expensive. around RM 600. out of my budget.

k. thanks. i will go see see ur recomendation.

hope you found good and cheap tire , funny is JB and KL or klang are different price
i can say JB tire more expensive than KL ,that 's why every 1 in JB buy important tire in singapore, but now a day currency getting higher, last time i bought nexxen tire but suck .the grip is no bad but rubber broken (weather hot)
For your case buy tire in SG no a problem,u should go try ask in Ubi area

among above seem like cheapest one is Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. i see the "flower" of it. seem like is very good wet tire. must be very noisy when dry. but is fine for me, as long as can cornering fast.

i heard those tire made in japan. the flower will cover the sidewall which will grip more better. is that true? (not sure if can find tyre that made in japan with price around RM4++ for 17")

I guess the price of tire made in japan a bit higher or more than rm 600 for 17 inch but happy search tire in singapore , listen my advice yesterday and happy meet you yesterday in Singapore , altezza 33
But unable meet tan in jb,any more further information, you can call him and he his my buddy in sentosa
And see you next two week onwards

Have you found what you want ?

the brigestone RE001 with SGD 245 and RE050 with SGD250.

RE050 is more for high speed tire right? while RE001 is good response?

still try to look for Yokohama one. S drive and advan sport wht difference ah?
