i have a turbo header or banana as u all call it
but the diameter is big
if bigger better ? does it cause turbo LAG ? thank you

lets see..

smaller diameter, less flow but higher velocity.

bigger, more flow but lower velocity.

the higher the velocity of the exhaust gasses come ramming into your turbo blades i guess the faster u get boost.

i think banana/equal length manifold will give great benefits in high boosting. i don't think installing banana alone will dramatically increase bhp.it works this way....more efficient gas flow=better performance.

if proper designed&fabricated....it might help. back to basic...turbocharger needs exhaust gas flow to spool,so the header/collector/manifold/banana that channel the exhaust gas contribute to better spool.

keep this in mind...majority high mods car use banana manifold + external wastegate.so that's mean the banana has it useful purpose.

as for thai w/gate....of course not good enuff.cannot hold too high boost.

Tial is top USA w/gate. as for japan made...to me Trust & HKS. ...especially the HKS GT II 50mm.

1 .i would like up upgrade my stock GSR manifold to banana header.. can anyone suggest me how many inch that might be useful to me?

2. im upgrading my IC piping to stainless steel.. also how many inch that good for it?
