Not sure how true is this story, but I'll post and share here.
Optimus Prime has a prime release date: The Fourth of July.

Transformers, the long-planned, live-action movie based on the robot-morphing cartoon, comic and toy franchise, will roll into theaters July 4, 2007, DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures announced Wednesday.
Michael Bay (The Island, The Rock) will direct;
Steven Spielberg will executive produce.

Arrrrr, so little screen available in the teaser, the metal transforming sound makes it cool, extremely cool (great memory recall).

Optimus is everyone's hero...but i particularly get excited when certain groups combine and form gestalts for eg. Aerialbots merge into Superion, Combaticons merge into Bruticus, Protectobots merge into Defensor etc...

And also big fights between the big boys...Metroplex vs Trypticon and Fotress Maximus vs Scorpornok....

ehhehe but i doubt if they're gonna slot any of these into the Transformer Movie...

I dont get it bro...If they can suggest characters like Vortex and Brawl(he's actually a tank) to be in it, then more likely than not, they're gonna form BRUTICUS!!!!!

And what's a Devastator?He's a gestalt formed by 6 Constructicons, not a stand alone!!

Ok guys, dunno about you all...but I can't wait for the movie!!!!!!!!
