Im currently pursuing industrial design in Limkokwing University College of Creative technology..this semester's project we are collaborating with Proton to re-design the current Gen 2 in the market.My field is to re-design the driver seat itself and improvising while solving problem dealing with the current model's seat.To all Proton Gen 2 owners, i jus need 10 minutes of your time to answer my simple questionnaire below and your help is much appreciated. Your contribution and participation might help to improvise our local Proton market to serve the community a better national car ahead.Thank you in advance to all dearest forummers.

-yes, car seat suppose to hold the driver and provide comfortable

-hard to take care.
-dull color will be good

-easier to take care materials and color.
-previous proton car seat material not bad.

The design does not support your body...the headrest is way to straight and does not support you head...the material(cushion) used is to stiff

Yes.The seating position is to high.

Because the design is to straight. Yeah i know that is suppose the correct posture while seating but come on...when driving we need to feel relax.

6. Does the head rest support your head and neck posture while driving?

Stupid. If its leather than its okay if is in beige color....but if its fabric than is furking difficult to keep it clean. Furthermore the mechanics at proton sc also didn't bother to take good care of the fabric when they service the car thus leaving the oil staint on the fabric. So what's the point having beige color seat. My prefered color is black (see G2 R3 for better references)

9. What can you suggest about the seat for the next Proton Gen 2 models in the future?
(E.g. materials of the seat, types of fabric for the seat, a softer seat, more comfortable seat, etc)
Study from best seat maker such as recaro, bride and sparco (not from their racing model lar...). This marques have the best design and its been used by another manufacturer too. Better still, get direct from them lar likes proton used to do in GTI, Putra and wira 1.8

thats a very in depth explaination of your problems there...i knw how u feel abt gen 2 cars cause most of the time proton has the most problem in many different ways...and thanks for offering your car for testing..ehehe..thats very nice of u....don worry we might hav a prototype gen 2 in our UNi for us students to test and feel it first hand...thanks so much bro...realli appreciate it..
