tinting rear side windows and rear window to black

just wanted to ask before i get caught with jpj or police.. is this illegal?(tinting my rear side windows and rear window to black? or tinting only my rear side windows to black? letsay 80%).. because too hot lah exposed to our frickin hot sun.. thanks!

Dude, i can tell u that confirmed that it's illegal to tint ur side rear windows & rear windscreen more than 60% VLT. I got caught b4 this & it's since not worth ur time for this small hassle unless u dun give a damn with the PDRM & JPJ la just like me! :shades_smile:

Same here,my car's tint is 65% black,you will definitely be stopped during JPJ or police road blocks,but TO HELL with it la!

y dun u try install that kind of tint 1st, then u try 2 find a roadblock, go thru the road block and see what will happen.... then u tell us.... dun be langsi laaaaa......
u should know oredi wat...... approval only 60% thats mean max of the film is only 45% plus u'r screen 15% =60%

But actually it depends on the mood of the cops you meet a roadblocks wan la,at times when you anticipate to kena the most,you won't and at times when you don't anticipate anything to happen you will kena haha.

Dont be a coward! Stick it! And after that all u have to do is keep alert for any roadblock ahead. If theres any, immediately find any junction and wait there until they r gone. If theres no junction, pull off on road side and open ur hood (acting!). If theres no junction and it already late to acting, just ready your wallet. Come onlah, even if u get summon, its only hit u a few hundred. But never give up ur tinted!! (remember the MTV add?) Stick it!! Stick it now!!
