just an update.
I finally got the big patrick, from memory lane 1U, thanks to everyone to helped, especially letting me know about the originality/immitation issues)
it is indeed made to hugging specifications. As if they had researchers in labs designing the dog to be comfortably hugged. the head will would rest next to the hugger's head, the big nose would provide sufficient cushioning for the neck/cheek, the front legs over your shoulders and hind legs across the chest. simply perfect!
well, seeing her smile tells me that it's worth every penny. (which she later hugged and fell asleep with it in my car.)
