i've got FRS walkies already... AND i know from past experience many times, during convoys, it's best to have a walkie handy.

get them Motorola Talkabouts!! T5720 is da bomb! hehe

i got those 'toy' Bell walkie talkies my aunty bought for my sis from US..oo not bad wor...up to 20 channels..and quite far radius..sometimes can pick up signals from dunno where...not sure bout the price
