The Best Solution for Comfortable Ride with Minimal Body Roll

Wah.. first time I've heard Tanabe being more comfortable than Eibach. For me it was the other way around on a Vios, but I guess it's all relative. And probably your MarkX is much heavier than the Vios so different performance?
....

Well both Eibach & Tanabe have different types as well. The Eibach I've tried was the Pro-Kit which if I'm not mistaken is on the more aggressive side of their street springs. It lowered my Lancer by 4-5cm so it's very aggressive look (barely fit 1 finger into the front gap) and consequently the spring rate was also pretty hard! While the Tanabe I'm using now is the NF series (NF stands for Normal Feeling) which is Tanabe's most conservative spring, only lower by 2-3cm (still 2 finger gaps on all 4 corners).

YYC : both! Front and back overly stiff and you'll get understeer. Put front stiff and rear softer best. Personally la. My car is rear heavy so easy to swing here and there if softer. For Titan, unless your car's also a Civic, getting the same feel from Titan will be difficult. Be careful when deciding cuz 2.5k give or take is lots of moolah!

6uest : Well, I dunno. Prokit for me has always been just nice. But your cars are all heavy duty cars like the Lancer and MarkX.. eh wait. Which Lancer is this?

Old Lancers, year 1991 & 1996 both with 1.8ltr DOHC engines (4G67 & 4G93), when I was still in Jakarta. My Lancers were not much heavier than Vios.
Btw I can be wrong with the Eibach type name, cuz it's been so long already, cannot remember exactly. :) Or is it the Sportline type (if there exist such type for Eibach)? It was progressive, black metallic/very dark grey color and drops around 4-5cm from stock.

Izso: Agreed. Feel in the light Civic EF might be different from Perdana. However the best part is they can customise the spring rate to our preferences till we satisfy. But I would like if possible not to spend that money. My car is 1.3tonnes. Now minus the spare tyre saves me at least 20kg so the rear is a bit bumpy, and maybe is heavy front-end too. That I am thinking the low cost option since my abs is in good condition, why not find a matching progressive spring and thicker ARB to achieve the desired result. If it is undesirable I still can reverse back to original setup with minimal damage to wallet. But I guess I might have difficulty getting the matching spring.

Ah? Black/grey isn't the prokit. Should be red right? Well either way I guess Eibach isn't for you. Did they give you a choice of spring rate when you went for the Eibachs?

Thumbs up! Personally I'd go do the ARBs first. You might be surprised to see how much stiffer your ride will be just with the ARBs.

Well but that's more than 15yrs ago so color can be different now. I'm actually still fine with Eibach, and I'm quite used to stiff ride already. :) Just that if preferring comfort, this Tanabe NF I'm using now is the best I've tried so far. Before buying the Tanabe, I've actually ask around for Eibach again and Tein also. I decided on Tanabe since it's the cheaper one, and luckily it meets my expectation as well. :)

No, they did not give any choices since that's the only available Eibach for my Lancer at the time.
