how much preload do you put for your car jessie? and i guess for each car the recommended preload will be different. anyway there's no preload mentioned in the installation manual (en version). in the jp version maybe it is documented...

bro... attached are the pictures taken from my flex setup. the hex screw is to be screwed inside the hole on top of the coilovers. then the EDFC will simply bolt on without any problem

if it's type flex for dc5 front mcpheson strut type, you should be able to install upper pillow ball / swivel ball mount.

N1 is selling it , i think rm300 per piece, if not mistaken?

can someone give me any manuals n specs of the flex....thanks in advance...tried to find it but only found jap version...:rolleyes:...

abt the squeeking sound i do get some info that its normal when u r using tein pillowmount...

p/s:wehh miur bila mau bwk aku naik dc5 with flex tu...haha

Yeap its clear now, your FLEX the top is green colour but mine normall mount black colour and the TIP is also different

so there's no place to screw in the hex screw then...

anyway... based on displayed features on respective websites... i think tanabe's TEAS offers better control than TEIN's EDFC. if you have the money... you can go for that...

To identify Tein Type Flex is very simple.

Look at the Shock body, there should be a sticker stating: "Winding Master Spec - Type Flex"

it should be on all 4 pieces of the shock absorber body.
