They are using infra red laser! (500 meter range, if you see fly over better slow down a bit la) :) Not sonar.

u need to get laser detector with radar detector over here in msia. best with anti V2 band so ur detector cannot be detected. however, fine for being caught using a detector is 10 grand.. so better be careful

i know some people who use it.. maybe not this brand but it works..

But, police will know when you have it in your car, so my advice, once you detect speed trap, slow down and take it off before you reach the block..
