Short Shifter

hello there,i just want to ask wat the use of installing a short shifter in your car coz my fren ask me to install it. Is it the same as the quick shift system in drag car?

Short shift kit is to decrease the throw length during gear shifts so that you can minimize rpm dropping too much during each shift. thus keeping the engine in it's power band. Benefit of short shift is that you can shave some seconds off during drag.

best is paddle shift. no throw length

answer is simple.... if got money then install.... no money...step the clutch and move your stick faster and let go the clutch faster....
