Hi all, any idea on the price range for a new or used original Staria Neo R3 ? As I know that is very limited in the market. :driver:

Re: Staria Neo R3 Edition

Used Neo R3? if i'm not mistaken only 10 unit produced..

Re: Staria Neo R3 Edition

ya...i know very limited and even more difficult to get a used unit :hmmmm:

why become more limited compare to previous r3 model?
they r not legend as their limited..

its definately more than 10 units...70 units i suppose..

cool.. thnx for the info.. so very limited huh, like the gti R3..
so how bout performance between GTI R3 and NeoR3..., power wise and handling wise?

correct me if i am wrong, from the paper, seem that power wise more to gti R3 and handling wise i can see it goes both equal... i myself drive the stock 2000 sgti with some mild setup on exhaust.. it was superb in handling.. eventhough an old sgti has a superb handling, i think the satria r3 and neo r3 must have much more..

SR3 is superb man...
The handling is really good for a proton car...
The interior all is nice and its true what Danzeterna said,SR3 is much lighter than GTi...
try searching for the Neo R3 forum...
maybe can ask any owner there knew anyone that would like to sell their R3 car....

yup, agree with you.. sr3 got superb handling rather than sgti....

Sounds good from all the things being said. But sadly with so limited numbers, don't think it is enough to boost sales. Anyway, how much would it be selling at?

The Satria GTi R3 is mainly based by the Original GTi... A lot of items is stripped especially sound isulation to reduce weight... the 16" advanti rims and Carbon fiber spoiler also provide of weight reduction... New Recaro SR4 with Red n black theme for interior... Air bag Steering is replaced with momo..

its more a prepped ready for track car compared to the GTi which has more sound proof materials and accessories like ABS,Air Bag steering,Fog lights and etc which most full spec cars have.. but.. the down side of Satria GTi R3 is.. its running on Siemens.. some late batches of Gti and GTi R3 owners hv turn to mitsu ecu n wirings and it made a lot of improvements for further upgrades...

proton did deserve an applause.. since they use the concept of the GTi into the R3 that is maintaining an image.. the Original GTi came out was in silver color and all of it r the same.. meaning they dont hv auto or different specs like its cousins putra n wira1.8 C99 Chasis... now the R3 division hv used that image to create their own to make Proton a bit more prestige.. thus born the GTi R3 n the Neo R3..

too bad... r3 itself is extinct... so i guess no more applause from me for Proton...
