SAFETY & TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
Safety Requirements:
a.All participants must posses an approved crash helmet that must be used during the meet.
b.Seat belts must be in good working condition. Seat belts must be worn all the times during the meet.
c.Headlights must be switch on during the runs and when the vehicle is moving in the paddock area.
d.Speeding is totally prohibited in the paddock area. Anyone found speeding in the paddock area will be excluded from the meet. Entry fees will not be refunded.
e.All participants must wear a minimum attire of long pants and t-shirts during the meet. A fireproof race suit is highly recommended. From Round 3 Nomex Racing Suit is COMPULSORY. It need not be FIA approved, but it MUST be made out of NOMEX material.
f.All participants must wear a proper shoe during the meet. No slippers and sandals are allowed. Competition Racing Shoe is recommended.
g.All participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the meet. If found guilty, the competitor(s) will immediately be excluded from the competition. The competitor(s) might also face a certain period of exclusion from future event.
h.All participants must obey the instructions given by the officials in charge during the meet.
i.No passenger is allowed in the car during the run(s).
THE ORGANISER AND PROMOTER HAVE THE RIGHTS TO REFUSE AN ENTRY IF THE VEHICLE OR DRIVER IS FOUND TO BE UNSAFE TO COMPETE IN THE EVENT. THE DECISION ON THIS WILL BE FINAL.
Technical Regulations:
Body of the vehicle:
1.Only stock body constructed from an automobile maker is allowed.
2.Space frame vehicles are prohibited. No exceptions!
3.Each vehicle must maintain the OEM uni-body structure.
4.Hardtop must be installed on open roof vehicle.
5.The appearance must remain similar to base vehicle.
6.Headlights, taillights and brake lights must be in working order.
7.Towing hook must be placed on the vehicle (front & rear). It should be visible and easy to access. Hooks needs to be painted in yellow or red. Stock hook is allowed but must comply with the above rules.
Vehicle modification:
1.Racing tyres or road legal semi-slick tyres are not allowed.
2.Installation of a six (6) points or better roll cage is highly recommended. From Round 4 a roll cage is Compulsory. Roll cage must be welded or securely bolted and anchored. If roll cage is bolted then its must be securely reinforced with an anchor plate and backing plate sandwich on each side of the floor pan.
3.Rear seats can be removed. Front passenger seat must remain in place. Interior door trim on the drivers and passengers side is required. It can be made out of aluminum, steel, composites, or plastics, and must cover the inside of the door.
4.A four (4) points or more Competition seat belts are highly recommended. If installed it must be properly anchored to secure mounting points. From Round 4 Competition Seat Belts is Compulsory.
5.Hood pins must be installed when installing after market hood, trunk and rear hatch.
6.GT wing or canard sharp edges must be rounded off if installed.
7.Exterior parts must be no wider or longer than the vehicle’s width or length.
8.Stainless steel frame or bolts must protect rear acrylic window from falling upon impact.
9.All exterior parts, tyres and wheels must be firmly secured to prevent from falling upon impact.The engine and its ancillaries must not be leaking any fluid or lubricants
10.Fire extinguisher is COMPULSORY. It must be securely installed on the passenger foot well. Any type is permitted.
