Q1
what does that exactly meanss ???

Q2
can we just simply changed the valve to make it softer...or is it i'm using a wrong concept...???
(opened my JIC with EFn, found the valve?)

Q2
can revalve make the suspension much more softer or any other ideas, for JIC one...can aaaa ???

Q3
can normal spring, welded like the JIC springs...(see the pic)

Alo, wanna let go the top pillow ball mount arr??

you can use standard absorber mount mar coz u not going to adjust ur camber kaw kaw negetive also. Hahahahahahaha.....
so when joining autocross?

>> Different type of valve gives different bounce and rebounce force to your strut. Revalve your JIC mean you will need to through away JIC's original made in Japan valve and replace by local buatan M'sia valve. After revalve your JIC will lost all its original bounce/rebounce characterictic and no longer perform like JIC strut and you will need to find new spring to match with the new valve.

>> Yes you can.

>> ooiii don't ask same question in different way laa....

>> I have no idea why the spring need to be welded at both end. Could it be custom made by those ichi hand fello due to some reason?

IMHO, a proper setting (or customizing) of coil over suspension should be done in the following sequence:

1) Decide how low your want to go.
2) Determine your strut's travel (the lower you go, the shorter travel you will get)
3) Determine the min spring rate you need in order to stop you strut from bottom-up easily.
4) Determine your spring's free length.
5) Determine your strut's damping force.

If you do it in a reverse way, you will still get a result but it will not in an optimum working point.

wowww...wong
the first post of yours...
ok fine i understand...

the 2nd post..huuu...
how low ok...
strut travel ??? what this...is it related to "short stroke"
ok...too low, i'll hit each other
how to determine sprine free length ??? is there calculation needed :D
last one, how many Kg front n rear aaa ???

Chinozie, the welding you mean the top part and the bottom part of the spring izzit? They do that because they want the sprint to seat better. If you notice most springs have at least 1 flat loop top and bottom. For yours i think they cut the spring and they cannot bend the loop to become flat. The best way is to weld the loop closest to each other. This is mainly just for sprint seating position.

BTW last time i see badly cut spring that has no flat seat and the spring hop out of the dampers and the front of the car collapse. Then have to tow back to change the asorber to new one because bent laio. hehehe.

best place to revalve???

halo....need to know where can i revalve my absorber??? any suggestion?? im using ohlins (adjustable soft hard) on my ride. it has some bottoming sound. can the revalve solve tis matter???

cheers

hahahah i knew you going to ask that Q...:_:

Nevermind, we can test it together in coming open track day on 21st May, 2006.
OK?

hahahaha...
view of God creation, so many , "the opppsite sex"...heeee
can't choose which one to introduce first...
