R33 GTS series 2 E Manage and more boost

errr...For the RB 25DET engine , what is/are the difference if the engine comes from R33 (GTS-T) and R34 (GTT)..what is the stock BHP..?
 
bro opp61.... u mean the full boost izzit ? full boost around 3k rpm also ..... if your max hp at 3k rpm ... i think very weird ler ...
 
but ... very sad to say that .... RB25DET really cannot boost 1bar ..... my turbo just gone when i boosting 1 bar ..... looking for new turbo now .... :bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:
 
oh jeez, sad to hear that bro.. stock ceramic turbo is known not to be able to handle boost of 1 bar and beyond... On the bright side bro.. u can gain more hp now since u going to get urself a new turbo... T78? T04r? T04z?
 
Just to respond on earlier ques of S1 and S2 ECR33 RB25det.

Both same except the Coil packs.
S1 has the ignitor sitting on top the coil pack cover
S2 the ignitor is part of the coil pack similar to the ER34 RB25det

Coil packs usually fry wth emanage because of the voltage fed to the coil packs - 12V
The coil packs are actually running lower than that and prolonged high current fries them.
 
a31gtst .... e-manage can do the jumper setting to choose 12v or 5v for the coil pack trigger signal .... i think the coil will fry only if the tuner did the wrong setting on the jumper ....
 
Yes, thats right. So always ensure this setting is not overlooked by your tuner for those who are running Emanage.

Hi guys,
Just to share my last dyno graph on my ECR33-S2, look at the difference before and after tuning(total 13 run), the previous fuel map in the e-manage blue was so wrong !! The AF ratio gone above 14:1 at 5300RPM !! Then exceeded 15:1 at 5800RPM !!

I was lucky for not blowing up the engine.. :-|
