Question on RCA cable legth required

Im new to ICE system. Got a question. Im going to install the amplifier under my seat.

1 x 4channel amplifier
1 x monoblock

No crossover as my apline hu comes with 3-rca pre-out. So question is now. how many pairs of RCA cables ill need for my setup and also how many feet is required.

Planning to get good cables myself before heading to install my amps.

My car is perdana V6.

no, 3 pairs.

1st pair (left & right) from front output (HU) to ch 1&2 input of 4ch amp.
2nd pair from rear output to ch 3&4 input of 4ch amp.
3rd pair from sub out to mono amp input. if mono amp only accepts single rca input, buy a Y-cable.

Im using only a single piece of subwoofer... still need Y cable ?

I thought RCA cable goes from my HU to my amps, from amp to speaker/subwoofer its speaker wire ?

Correct me if i am wrong.

I have drawn a basic diagram below to clear my own doubts, please comment if it is correct or wrong.

u wont need Y cable if input of the sub amp accepts stereo RCA input.

Yap, if your monoblock amp has 2 RCA input, means that Left + Right side, then just use 1 pair of RCA from your Alpine HU Sub (L+R) to hook up direct to your monoblock amp (L+R), from your amp, should be able to set steareo (means use both L+R input and output to your subwoofer with either 1 Double Voice Coil or maybe 2 seperate subwoofer with Single Voice Coil) or mono (means use bridge mode so that you get more power to just 1 only subwoofer, but from L+R input still, you can connect it in series for 1 Double Voice Coil subwoofer or maybe 2 seperate subwoofer with Single Voice Coil, but still depends on how low impedence your monoblock amp can handle)

If you can let us know what monoblock amp you are using and what subwoofer, it will help a lot because you may have a lot of combination of setup by considering how many impedence and power for both of your monoblock amp and subwoofer you having now.

monoblock im not sure yet... im hunting for 12" SQ woofer now, can you recommend any ? budget below 1k including enclosure.

Also a question on the fuse, what kind of fuse & power cable to be used ? What i mean by power cable and fuse is, the main supply from the battery, any brand in specific, any type of recommendation on the power cable ? i heard the thicker the better, im not sure. Pls advise length of power cable required if anyone knows.

I think, 3 pair of RCA can be use. or 2 pair also can be use. how long the RCA cable iam not sure because i drive produa myvi.
