Proton Gen2 owner need help here..

Hi to all Sifu here,i'm a owner of proton Gen2..I hv a question that wan to ask is i wanna to fix a RPM meter into my car but i took to a shop the try fix for me but the meter is "heavy" not accurate not so "chun" they try connect to the coil wire and try connect to my original RPM meter wire also the same not accurate..i hv try the normal RPM mter and the digital is the same not accurate..any1 can help me here pls..i really like a RPM meter wanna fix it but cannot..
