My alarm started to give problem. First the shock sensor triggered even when there is no people near the car. The sensitivity already set to the lowest since day one. So I disable the shock sensor. After I disable the shock sensor, I locked the car and went away. Later I tried to open the door with the remote but cannot open. The remote return an error. Have to manual go into the car to by pass the alarm. Took my spare remote and it work. Then I read the manual and found out that maybe the code hopping tech is preventing the remote from opening the door. So I removed the battery for more than 10 sec then put it back. After this, it work. However, the shock sensor still trigger so I have to bypass the shock sensor. Please advise how to overcome the shock sensor problem.
The part where u mentioned that you needed to remove the battery. you are right. Sometimes there is a need to recalibrate the alarm as it works on signals. There is nothing wrong with the alarm in this sense.
As for your shock sensor. What do you mean you disable it? You mean go into valet mode? Anyway please drop by the installers place for him to check it out. If anything needs replacement and your set is under warranty, he can do it.
my alarm is giving problem now. cant open the door sometimes when disarming the car from remote. Sent to ah meng's place already and still the same prob.
