THE Porsche Boxster is the car most loved by owners, a survey reveals. A staggering 98 per cent said they were totally satisfied with the motor and would recommend it to friends.
The Porsche topped the popularity charts in a survey of more than 32,000 readers of Which? consumer magazine.
Second-hand Mazda MX-5s came next in the list, followed by the Land Rover Discovery and Toyota Yaris Verso in joint third place. The Honda CR-V was next.
The car that left owners most disappointed was the Rover 25.

Most people would go for Skyline GT-R or an Evo ;) ...

Nahh, that survey is definitely not conclusive enough. The result of this survey does not mean that Porsche cars are the best, it simply means the customers are happy with what they're getting from the car.

To begin with, the votes were taken off readers and they did not mention how many votes were for the Boxster, how many for CRV, how many for the MX-5. So in a way its not conclusive. What if out of 30,000 votes, only 200 were Boxster owners while compared to the MX-5 which has 8,000 owners. For sure the Boxster will get more happy owners simply because the voters are less.

Even Top Gear does this annually and guess what topped the list last year? The Honda S2000.

Its not about how expensive or how great the car is aloe, it is about the whole experience of ownership, dealers, service, reliability, costs and so on.
