I ended up go for the trackday on Saturday. The car was great! A little understeer and need to throw the rear end a bit. (Damper most hard already-need to check how to get to throw the rear end). As for now better like this I think because of the non LSD diff. :driver:

Around 20 minutes before ending the session, discovered quite a bad oil leak. At first thought it is coming from the sandwich water cooler adaptor(use this to get clearance from the engine block and oil cooler hose at adaptor). It turn out, the leak is from broken oil temp sensor.

Engine all balance after coming into the pit was way lower than low. Glad this dint hurt the engine. Well at least I think so. This ended the session early.

Get the sensor out, plug in a bolt in to stop the leak. Fill up engine oil and drove back the car to the workshop. Was quite a long day. But had fun!

Aisehmen... luckily ur engine didn't seize at sepang la bro... but thats the spice of motorsports... somehow if it didn't happen on the track, it will happen somewhere else... a good close prior to ramadhan...:biggrin::biggrin:

Ya lucky me able to drive it home.:driver: ya the sensor will fail but it chooses to fail at that time. Ya pushing the car like that sure some part will brake some time.

Anyhow was disappointed with the still poor other facilities, toilets, grandstand. Those are complete disgrace.

The facilities are world class... just that "monkeys" ruining them... talking bout attitude.. Things were different back then during sepang itself having their own trackdays... People knew how to use the garbage bin behind the pits.... :burnout::burnout::hmmmm::hmmmm:

As with our MY facilities they always start as world class, then go downhill from there.....:banghead:
Have you seen the state of our KTM stations? and I was really shock when I went to Immigration Department in Putrajaya. The outside looks so nice, but the inside is really horrible.....

he got nobody to blame over himself (in my opinion)

installing different ARB or any other chassis bracing wasnt about question of getting all of them installed....

but more to getting it to work the way u want it to do....

need to be more specific...like changing car balance between under/over-steer..or snap oversteer or whatever car behaviour......

like if that KE already suffered from heavy understeer...if upgrade the rear section with additional/stiffer ARB...definately it would be even more understeer....where he should sort out the front grip issue in the first place.... (just example...i'm in no position to comment on that actual guy)

AE1xx using super strut or normal macpherson layout?

on fender bar...it makes the area of suspension tower stiffer in relative to the car cabin....so there is a lot more road feedback transferred..because without it, there is some level of chassis flex absorbing the road imperfection which is isolating the driving feels....

Yup agree. I'm currently using UR bars also but not yet the full set, only front strut, rear antiroll, and rear lower arm bars. So far pretty satisfied as they perform as my expectation with regards to how I want to adjust my car handling behavior. Many people put down UR without much solid reasoning but I suspect due to just too brand minded (coz it's local brand) so die-die must have Japan brands like Cusco even though need to spend up to twice the price. I think UR is good value for money in general.

Err... KIV-ing the event... need to wrap my nardi first.. the sunburn is an eyesore... there goes the trackday budget... :driver::rofl:

lol. next one is on 17th July. Eyeing to join. If not 30th July one before MSF. Approaching Raya all budget koyak.:bawling::bawling::bawling:
