O2 Simulator

Hi

May I know where can I get an O2 simulator?

My CEL light always on after changing the extractor at Everco Sunway. Those guy do not know how to resolve the CEL issue, and ask me to look for a original extractor and spend $$ again.

Went to authorised service center and the OBDII scanner showing error of CAT.

Really hope to get the O2 simulator soon so that do not have to reset the ECU everytime the CEL lights up.

Hi

I'm driving a 2001 Hyundai Elantra. Now I always have the CEL on as I do not have any Cat now.

The 2nd O2 sensor will generate a different (FLAT) graph after the exhaust gas is filtered through the first cat. If the ECU does not see the expected flat graph/curve, it will generate a CEL indicating low cat efficiency or defective cat (the error code).

Currently both my (the 1st O2 and 2nd O2) showing the same curve after scanned by OBDII scanner. Hence the CEL error code showing defective cat.

Is there a way to disable the 2nd O2? What I do now is to reset the ECU everytime the CEL on. Please help.

with the defective o2..what else does it affects besides the cel light?

I read through some forum and they said nothing change except for the CEL light on. Which showing defective CAT.

Then another forum saying it will increase the O2 intake to make sure the CAT function properly.. which I do not have any CAT.

So I'm not really sure the actual answer..
