I think 1920. Or earlier. It was issued on the very first car in the country.

I heard that P1 is as old as W1, although yes obviously KL has more plates.
Well I heard that those days the British or something resided there so when they brought cars along, they issued theirs.

One of my favorites is M1, don't exactly know how old. Though Malacca doesn't have too many plates, the date of the first car in the state shows the year, so who knows..

I often see the M1 at the big government office thing in Malacca. M1, M??1, M??2, all the way to 9.. all drivem for the Datuks and YBs

But not the first registered.

But last time i heard a dato speech, he said that first car in Malaysia is in Ipoh it's mercedes benz. So i though A1 was the first car in Malaysia.
