hi guys, i'm currently looking for infinity reference speakers 9602 or 9612. Anyone of u guys know where i can get it? i asked shops around my area and no one has it. How much would it cost?

thanks very much.

hi man... i'm currently looking to change my rear speakers and have read reviews from all over the net. So, after some considerations i thought that this pair fits my needs, which is good bass and sound quality.

BTW i'm not pushing it with any amps so if there's any better suggestions can someone please advise me? my budget is around RM500 like that.

My advice is-don't trust those reviews so much.
Try to listen to them yourselves.
IMO, Infinity speakers lack midbass.
I had tuned a couple of systems using these speakers.
BTW, is your surname soong??
Quite rare.
I am soong too.

aiks... is that so? infinity i saw mostly all gave it 5/5 rating. Well, i'm on a pretty tight budget to say, around RM500-600. If that's the case, what model do u suggest which fits my criteria? or is there any shops around KL i can get to audition the speakers as much as i want?

LOL soong here too dude, perhaps you're my long lost cousin or sumthin' :_:

cheers to all the soongs!

Haahaha!! Cheers to all the Soongs!!
I suggest with your budget, go get some used units.
Infinity speakers start from 75Hz.
Get some that starts from 50hz or lower.

Ohh icic.. well i have shortlisted that infinity 9612 as main priority and my second one is alpine SPR-69LP. The alpine one has freq response from 30hz-30khz. Does that mean it's capable of producing good bass for a 6X9 set?

thx for advising mate :_:

usually uncle soong will say forget about the rear speakers and get a subwoofer instead, which most of us here also agree :_: if u already have a sub, then use that money to upgrade somethin else, like your amp or fronts or HU...

sorry double post

ooo icic... is it possible if i only add a sub and an amp for the sub without amp-ing up my front n rear speakers? if that's the case which type of amp should i look for a sub? 2-ch amps?

if u get amp for sub is usually a monoblock or a 2ch amp, but whenu look around u will see price of a 4ch amp isnt much higher than a 2ch, so might as well get a 4ch so u can power the fronts and the sub and you'll be a happy camper

ooo alright then... thanks man for the info... now i'll need to wait for more money time only i can do somethin on my audio system. sigh... :Not_Impressed:

as Zenn says

yes, normal setting just a 4ch amp is enaugh.

front component/speaker ch 1,2 bridge ch 3,4 to sub
