yo frenz gsr...i've planning to put whether mirage 1.6 turbo or mivec 1.6..what do u think..dont know much bout jpj approval..

haha.... depends on whether u want NA or turbocharged engine lo... both is 2 vr different engine...

about jpj approval, 4g61t (mirage) is plug and play for saga iswara while 4g92 (mivec) is not.... mivec, u need to mod the mounting in order to fit in... so, u will face some trouble in jpj...

in that case brader sky..i go for mirage,since it's plug n play,i think there's no problem with jpj..is'it easy to find this mirage engine n how much actually the cost of complete installation....wish i have money right now...!!!!:sad_smile: huhhh....

but its an old engine lar... so better overhaul it before installing...

actually mivec also can pass jpj... depends how much u pay and which jpj u go to... different state jpj has different strictness...

Turbokit for iswara 1.3cc non-injection

I heard that beside upgrading or convert our engine,we also can install a turbokit, is'it posible putting it into my 1.3cc stock engine,non injection..what is the adv/disadvantages...where can i look in for this turbokit n how much is the cost that i have to pay

i'm curious bout it..if affordable, i might wanna changed into it,rather than converting my stock engine..

no u cant do that... its almost impossible to BOT a carbie engine... coz ur A/F ratio will be constantly changing, carbie cars cannot adjust electronically..... thus, u'll need to run rich in order to run the turbo....

correct me if wrong, i still noobie saja.....

can la... convert to efi, then BOT... vr troublesome... u end up with a rojak engine... so its better to convert a proper turbo engine such as 4g61t....
