yah..imoloq say is true...500bhp is more thn enuf for me...more thn tht is just not daily driven car....thts japan gt on the road...or even F1....thts sick man...just imagine..u driving a r34 with 1000bhp under the hood...it just take tap on the paddle to get it up to speed!!!!...sumore with malaysia type of traffic and road condition..on ur triple plate clutch..oh plss thts the pain on the leg....to make full use of tht 500bhp is just pretty much impossible...unless is late at nite of coz...

M5 with the paddle shift and auto gearbox...makes daily drive posible...M5 will b my 1 choice for daily and wildy weekends...

BTW why compare Skyline to M5
Skyline where got enough speed to keep up with M5?
Besides, Skyline is a Tuner... M5 is a Supersaloon.. (more of a Exotic category)

M5 0-60mph - 4.2
'GTR' 0-60mph - 5.2

M5 also wins in midrange because its NA

ultievo, but both the cars have similiar 1/4 mile times of under 13 secs. couldnt find any stock 1/8 mile time for the stock R34 GTR , a stock M5 does it in 8+ secs - Stock 2006 BMW M5 1/4 mile trap speeds 0-60 - DragTimes.com .

wait till new gtr launch hehehe... expect to be 450hp... and still can modify, japanese car maker really dont want to make a car so perfect because most of japanese car lover like to modify, not like bmw n merc most of them lazy to modify and dont have any interest in modify only want to feel the power a lil bit of show off...

Thats a stock GTR bro.Japanese cars are meant to be modded, where else the M5 is already build to its limit by M-Sport. Maybe the most you can do to the M5 is change the exhaust system. Sure, you can add a turbo but i doubt the car will be very reliable. 12 Compression on a 5 liter block dont work well with force induction.

A stock GTR is probably 10 % of its full potential.

Anyway, i dont have a very fast car, but i have tested with a M5 before who already modded exhaust system. Tested all the way from Victoria Station near Pusat Bandar Damansara to Dataran Merdeka.Driver on M5 was a very good sport, not often do i meet a exotic car driver that has the guts to race all the way, fully whacking his million dollar car.Was really fun whacking through all the straights,small tunnels and curves especially through dataran merdeka where you can hear the echo of the V10 !

Truthfully,i know i can overtake him if i wanted to because i can see my car pulling forward every time i press the throttle a bit more, but i didnt try to overtake because i dont know where is he going and i wanted to follow him all the way to keep the game going.

So if my car can kill an M5, i am sure there are many many faster cars out there which can easily do it.
