Use for stock parts wan ar... aiyahh... means later if mod more things, the ECU won't be able to get the maximum power from the new mods ?? :(

Bro,
this is always the case with ecu+chip laah. They are 'fixed' .
The best way is programmable management laahhh ....
Change one thing , set the brain, change again , set the brain again.

Frens of mine use Mine's & it kicks ass .... ( his car with very minimum mod only ),
but then again , there might be few version of the Mine's chip like Spoon or Mugen does.

sircrx : hehe... now no money for programmable management yet ma.. :D your fren's Mine's vtec engage at what rpm wan ar ?

I wonder these kind of original ECU which has been chipped, can we remove their chip and put in other kinds of programme... would there be any problems... if we find that their chip not so good...

5200 open.
No rev limit.
Kicks ass. Original Mine's comp box , not only chip.

anfernee,
I'm using mine's chip only. vtec engage 5750rpm exactly. your eye will see 5800rpm. Using it for quite long oredi. So far so good. Got rev cut, around 9500rpm or slightly higher but have not been there to try it yet. Reason : not enough reserves to put in new engine. Gives good response and smooth power delivery. Not much lagging at low rpm. If u have any other device that allows u to adjust the fuelling, it will be better. My summary is : it's good.

But of course diff ppl will hv diff opinions. So this is my 2 sen's worth of opinion. Hope u can digest it. :D

Cheers.

poji eg9,

Ok, thanks KillerB... I think I will get it from the guy... and try it... anyone knows whats the market price for a used Mine's P30 ECU ?

Dunno about the Mine's ones, but I got my Spoon original ECU for 1500 previously, 2 yrs back. Now I'm still trying to sell it for around 1k. Guess rest of the ECU is around the same price kwa. My 2 sen.
