Anyone can tell me what's the diffrent on b16a ecu with code p30-010.Is the basemap same with p30-000.All I know the ecu is not ready for chip.

P30 but not ready for chip in what sense?

Solid CEL when chip? Or socket non existent?

p30-000
p30-010
p30-001
p30-111

all was same n its was a manual ecu for obd1 honda b16a
all the map inside was same its just different the batch, if u thinking to chip for the ecu no matter manual / auto the after chipped results its same

The socket not exist or soldered but all inside the ecu is same with my p30-000.I think it can resoldered to put the chip socket.

and one more thing when I plug in the ecu my idling goes up and down. Not stable like previous ecu.Something wrong somewhere la.Afr from apexi pen timer show 10.0.

AFR from pen timer notoriously inaccurate.

Unstable idle usually means faulty IACV signal, or minor short on one of the PS,AC,brake switches. Could be a lot of things, but if it happens on that particular ecu, then it's the ecu, you can cut a few jumpers (if it's already chipped) and run it as stock, and see if there's any issues.

It could be possible there's an air leak, an air leak also gives the up and down idle issue, but if it only happens with that particular ecu, it's unlikely to be an air leak.

aiya bro shiro, going fedup stage 3 oredi la with this problem.Thinking of changing to b16a back la.

what engine are you running now?

usually with big cams, the few cars that make 250+hp all have floating idle (idle goes up and down) even the low cam results in lumpy idle. the only cars that idle like stock have lower hp, but also mostly also retain stock R cams.

For me, hmm.. those aggresive high cams are not something you want to put in your daily driver.

Anyway, you said you can get stable idle with previous ecu? so why switching now?

Running on ls vtec with many R parts on it.Previous ecu got burnt condenser on it.hmmm!!

just make higher rpm to batter idle in temporary of without engine management
or get a vafc/safc its could help

if u thinking to going for future upgrade crome/e manage tune for cheap cost
if u have some budget go for haltech/microtech
