Meguiars Carnuaba wax

Anyone try Meguiars Carnuaba wax before ? Is it good ? Planning to get one.

Sounds like the Ultimate Paste Wax. Its alright, I personally like the finish that it gives off. But if you want it to last, you're going to have to layer it about 2-3 times. One layer doesn't last long at all in our weather. Only about 2-4 days depending on where you park your car. But It does give some awesome gloss to the a car. especially a black one and beads beautifully.

Black can should be the Ultimate range. The rule of thumb to get a wax/sealant to last long is to apply it on a clean surface. And by clean I mean you need to at least clay and do a light polish (paint cleaner). Wax/sealant needs a clean surface to bond properly.

should I wax first and then apply a layer of sealant ?

Its sealant first then wax. Either way ... like Krismas said, its more important to have a clean and defect free surface first.
