Does your Mac emit a POP sound within the first 30minutes of booting up?

Mine does, and I heard that the Mac monitor takes 30minutes to fully "warm up."
Is the POP sound a sign of it warming up or is there something wrong with my Mac?

what is MAC?

"MAC Donald?"
"MAC ~ make up for women"
"I MAC U, then you know..."
"Tonite, I MAC U"
"baby, MAC U one more time!"

????:mouth_closed:

btw, no it doesnt. POP on application or idle??. sorry, I could not MAC you much on this.:_:

errr..it only pops once... whether on idle or not.. as long as it is the first 30mins after you boot it up.
Restarting doesn't count btw...

"pop" as in the usual "MAC" sounds ie bubbles, quack, pop, chime when theres a message in mail/yahoo/messanger etc or something not identifiable (non MAC but machanical)?

may wanna run by your MAC technician.

May the MAC be with you.

it's definately mechanical or something.. sounds like speakers wanna pecah..but not loud... crackle of some sort.. dunno how to explain..

but other than that.. everything is just spiffy
