Just test drove the Lexus IS-F at Naza Automall in PJ. They currently only have one for sale at the moment and the price is RM 569,000 unregistered. It was a press only event and we took turns to drive it, well... in circles inside the compound. Of course, still managed to leave some tread marks in front of the Naza Italia showroom and whacked it on the straight all the way to the Ducati showroom at the other end (with traction control off).

The sound of the V8, well, on idle it provides a soft rumble. But when u open up the taps... it really sings!

hehe..stupid?i think quite reasonable if u compared to M3 price..this is M3 killer..

the front bumper is really ugly... otherwise the motor is cool. for the price, R35 is bang for buck.

yes, in terms of performance, it will not hold up against the GTR and on the track it actually loses out to the M3. However, u would not get a more better sounding V8 from Lexus or Toyota as this is the one and only one with it. I would agree the price is not cheap but considering if u were to buy one brand new, it would pass the 1 million mark. It's definitely a richman's ride and pay another RM70k more, u can buy yourself a brand new Porsche Cayman S.

Anyway, the IS-F is as much fun to drive as it is to admire. A lot of us Altezza owners would love to own this car as it is the updated version of the SXE10, but honestly the price is truly out of most of our budgets. U would also need to worry about insurance and petrol should u own one as it is a guzzler and drinks fuel like water.

it's a 4 door saloon...

nice...
the blue color is much more nicer !

The rear lights look like sylphy.. And also like a kia or hyundai model i think.. New trend ah?

This car was initially dubbed the 'M3' killer.
Made to Rival the E92 M3, the extra CC to combat the heavier body, and the close 8speed gears to ensure the car always has power. At straights, it can take on the M3 definitely, but at corners, depends on the drivers..

Having the luxury to sit in all three on the same night, all I can say is if you are into performance, buy the gtr35. If you are into continentals dig the M3, if you want best of both world (comfort + performance and a 4door that can fit 2 golf bags and 5 passengers), grab the IS-F...

But of course, people in zth are all about performance, so the gtr35 will be the obvious choice. Just want to share that, until you have actually been to experience these cars, you would have a clearer picture why the IS-F is special and priced up there alongside with the gtr35 and e92 m3...

If someone can really afford these type of cars,
they wouldn't be bothered by the road tax, petrol, insurance, maintenance, etc. Don't you think so ?

Also between the IS-F, E92 M3, E60 M5, RS4, R35 GTR, 997 GT3..
All are different cars for different purpose, there's no right or wrong.
It's up to individuals, What you want to do with the car ?
What kind of performance you're looking at ? etc. etc.

An IS-F would be a good garage companion with an R35 GTR.
One for daily, one for the weekend. :driver:

i totally agree, but if u READ my whole post u would know that i was saying it in the context that most of us don't have the means of owning one. I have no doubt that ppl who can afford one can afford anything that comes with it.
