I've been reading on Titan for a long time but couldn't find the time to actually visit the place,

Am driving a Peugeot 206 lowered with H&Rs (35mm) at the front and the rear is running on a torsion bar (normal height),so basically my car is lowered at the front and ori setup at the rear. Just want to know

1) Would Titan's application be the same for my car ? (cos mine is a torsion bar at the rear)

2) Am using H&Rs for my front, am sure Titan is able to custom make the suspension to fit the springs ? Wouldn't want those adjustables, just the normal ones. . .

3) My current preference is to have a comfortable ride without compromising on cornering as the main intention was to improve my handling also. I travel on highways most of the times and it tends to get a lil bumpy or should i say, at nite, i can sometimes see my lights on the road like riding on a wave (up n down) and i want to minimise all that without compromising my handling during corners as currently, it corners just like gliding on rails.. and on top of that would like to also minimise the feeling of those small lil holes on the road.. (sorry to ask for so much :( )

4) how long do i have to leave my car with Titan ?

5) how much would it cost? roughly, so i can do a budget (my humble apologies)

hi gilamonster:

uhm  am i having Dejavu?? pardon the sudden question :P
because i thought i've answered a similar question for a Peugeot 206 before! hmmmmm...

nvm

TiTAN's application to your car?
as long your car uses oil-filled dampers, (dampers that uses oil as the dampening medium) it'll work plenty fine (assuming tuned well la)

So if it's torsion bar la, coil-springs la, leaf springs la, our Dampers should be compatible :) it's the matter of fitting brackets and correct measured dimensions :)

2) YES we can. That's the items listed as RED in our price list.
so for your car, an estimatation of price is about RM2000 (brand new materials, heck freshly cut from the stock materials too!)

3) refer to our ZTH taiko, Tom who uses TiTANs in his beautiful ride, the E30 BMW. Usually i'd prefer to recommend the full coilover set, just that his car has space restrictions and we only can use the Eibachs he have and i'm pretty proud of the end results! :)
Tom's review

4)about 3-4 days tops. MUST have an appointment (not that we're that exclusive la, we're just really under-staffed at the moment)

5) estimated RM2000. Shouldn't cost more. (unless other parts need replacing, nothin g to do with TiTAN)

labour of fitting and alignment + 2years limited warranty IS included in every qoute by me. :)

yeah, the replies for the Peugeot 206 was from me... just that i haven't hv the time 2 get to look for ur shop , so just want to enquire, moreover, having only 1 car left in the household is a pain. anyway been catching on with ur products eversince day 1 when Titan featured a Toyota Camry in Hypertune, i read the review of the Bimmer and it was good (deatailed) and been reading reviews on and on again. . . Rm 2k is just 1 large sum of money which has to be spent properly :D :D

anyway, thanks, will bear that in mind and maybe give u a ring before i drop by ur shop.

as soon as i can get enough cash to pay for the suspensions  thanks, just to tell u that am really interested, just that, time and resources are holding me back.. thanks once again B)

Just to ask more, since E30 can't use fully adjustables...can E34 use adjustables for front and rear ?

I'm more to handling and can sacrifice comfort for that ...

if i'm not wrong.. front adjustables, rear still telescopic

can see what we can do :)

we'll be honest with you, we'll tell you IF we can do a good job, else we wont bother.

btw, forgot to ask, care to mention a lil bit on after sales service ? know Titan has a guarantee of 2 years etc etc and something like 4 times.. hmmm kinda forgot..

will give u the specs of the suspension on the day i meet you, cos goin over bumps is getting on my nerves n not to mention uneven tarmac road which cause ur car to "bounce"

hope to see you soon..

(replied 2ur pm) thanks

gilamonster

thanks for your visit to our factory yesterday :)
i hope i've helped to enlighten you about shock absorbers/dampers design and manufacture..

yes, your car's current setup.. is a tad harsh, springs are nice and hard, dampers too lazy(old?)

See you on the 27th :) when your car comes in :)

yeah.. thanks for the short visit.. I'm more of the business side while my dad is more on the engineering side, so he understands more, i just understand the basic suspension thingi..

will see you on the 27th, just to remind you. my rear is on a torsion bar n there's no springs at the rear, just need the dampers.. but will leave it to u and uncle richard to take a look on 27th when you jack the car up..

your car!

neat.. the car is lovely.. driving on highway is really nice.. i took a really sharp turn over at the highway exiting to Shah Alam.. this time, i hear my rear wheels making screeching noises.. and i notice the rear is a lil high compared to the old ones.. any technical reasons ?

uncle richard explained to my on y cars shouldn't be lowered TOO much etc etc..

Thanks for everything, would need you to do some finetuning after this but give me time to check everything out..

can this set-up be taken to Sepang ?
