IT Asset Management Reporting Specialist
Brief Scope
To plan and operate an effective reporting system and process for IT Asset Management to meet business requirements and is consistent with Bank’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
To establish and maintain a close working relationship with IT Asset Management and various Technology teams to meet business requirements.
Qualification
Academic & Professional
In possession of minimum Degree (IT or Engineering)
2 - 5 years relevant work experience in the field of IT reporting or data warehousing Certification
ITIL Foundation v3
Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) development
Microsoft SharePoint development
Skills & Attributes
Practical experience in report design, development and maintenance using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) in a global organisation
Business requirements analytical skills and reporting design skills to create multi-dimensional reports and information packs for various IT portfolios
Expertise in data modelling to reflect IT Asset Management data
Nice to have
Familiarity with BMC Remedy, BMC Atrium, SCCM, ADDM (Tideway)
Have a strong background of IT infrastructure, IT products and IT terminology, especially in IT Asset Management classes such as desktops/laptops, servers, application, software, database
Key Responsibilities
To gather requirement, analyse, develop, test and implement reports and tools for the purpose of IT Asset Management
To develop reports or implement tools enhancement
To ensure IT Asset Management report generation are automated as much as possible in accordance to Bank's policies, procedures and guidelines.
To deliver scheduled and ad-hoc raw data or reports.
To provide improvement ideas or actions to increase efficiency
To carry out root cause analysis and resolve issues .
To ensure proper documentations for all reports or developed tools are in place and approved by stakeholders.
Serve as subject matter expert for all reporting and tooling functions within the team
Asset & License Management
To assist in the inventory management for Technology hardware and software inventory.
To maintain regular discussion with CSS, desktop support team, IT Asset Management on day to day Technology hardware and software inventory issues.
Support License and Contract Management Team on internal and external audit activities in terms of providing supporting data extracts
