Minimum 3 years IT experienced preferred, to include :

Extensive knowledge and experience in the development of Capacity Planning reports and processes
Demonstrated experience and detailed knowledge in the Capacity Planning function (or Performance Management function) in a major organization
Well developed written and verbal communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills can be applied at senior management, peer and subordinate levels.
Ability to write reports in plain English and create Excel charts by effectively communicating Capacity plans, issue and recommendations with our audiences (Clients, Service Delivery Executives and Managers, Delivery Managers, and various technical teams)
Well-developed adaptive problem solving skills that can be applied in a broad or generally defined environment
Job Scope
The Capacity Planner will be required to ensure the Capacity Management delivery functions are supported for various internal and external clients managed by HP.
The Capacity Planner will be responsible for:
• Providing a high level of technical leadership in all phases of capacity management activities.
• You will have defined areas of responsibility and will work with the capacity management team to ensure the preparation and analysis of capacity management trends and growth reports and make recommendations for future hardware requirements.
• You will be able to represent the Capacity Management team during project and business planning meetings with other service teams and the customer, to ensure that the standard HP Service Offerings are implemented and where necessary extended to meet client requirements.
• You will be able to provide technical consultation to the Client, internal HP stakeholders regarding capacity related issues.
• You will follow up other support teams to ensure we are receiving data from all required infrastructure.
• You will be required to support growth and new business through facilitating and overseeing the successful implementation of Capacity Management tools and processes.
• As client needs require you will lead or assist in Capacity Assessment and Capacity Plan activities and will produce the necessary report documentation
