Iswara A/B 1998: Burnt Plastic Smell from A/C

Hello, friends.
I am sorry, I do not know where to post this problem. I need your assistance with my air-con. My car air-con now smells like burning plastic. I don't know what/where/how to check.

Am asking this because I need to know the exact problem before I send my car to a garage, and to get ready some RM. Grateful if somebody could help.

u could check your compressor...maybe need to be serviced.....how bout did u open your engine & smell for any burnt smell? if u switch off your aircond, still any burnt smell?

Thanks, for your advice. I have not check anything yet. If that's the case, then the garage is unavoidable. :)
